Apple looking into one more episode of iPhone 7 exploding

What may be a disturbing news for Apple, one more of the iPhone 7s on fire surfaced online. Twitter user Brianna Olivas posted a video of a smoking iPhone 7 Plus, which caught fire after not working properly for a couple of days.

 New Delhi: What may be a disturbing news for Apple, one more of the iPhone 7s on fire surfaced online. Twitter user Brianna Olivas posted a video of a smoking iPhone 7 Plus, which caught fire after not working properly for a couple of days.

The Telegraph reported that Olivas was asleep when the phone began spewing smoke. It was a friend who noticed the smoke and threw the handset in the restroom.

The report added that the incident occurred a day after Olivas had taken her phone to the shop where she purchased it because it wasn't working properly.

Employees at the Sprint store told her it "looked weird when it turned on" but returned the device after running tests. 

Apple last year said it was investigating claims that at least eight iPhone 7 phones had caught fire or exploded in China after a consumer watchdog said it had received the complaints. Olivas tweeted:
