Xiaomi Redmi Pro to be launched today; Is Mi Notebook on the way too?

New Delhi/Beijing: Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi is all set to launch its next Redmi smartphone at an event in China today.

Xiaomi has officially confirmed the launch of its upcoming phone dubbed Xiaomi Redmi Pro. Xiaomi confirmed the name via a post from its official account Weibo.

However, the one thing that has garnered the attention of gadget lovers is the speculation around the event. As per media reports, the Chinese smartphone giant might also introduce the Mi Notebook  during the event.

Leaked images of the upcoming laptop as well as the Redmi Pro phone have also started circulating in the media.

As per news reports,  the Redmi Pro will feature a deca-core MediaTek MT6797M processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.

Meanwhile, the Mi Notebook will have a metallic body, and will be powered by Intel Core i7, and i5 processor depending on the versions of the laptop.
