Mumbai, Nov 28: Marine commandos, who were involved in a dare devil operation to flush out terrorists holed up in the Taj, on Friday said that recovered at least 30 dead bodies, while around 200 people are being held hostage in one of the halls of the Taj.
Commandos also revealed that they have recovered a large catche of foreign made sophisticated arms and ammunitions, adding that the terrorists can continue their gun battle as they are well equipped.
Giving more information, a senior marine commando said those terrorists have about seven fully filled magazines, approximately 400 spare rounds and grenades as well. They are said to be carrying AK series rifles, the Commando said.
Although, he was not sure in which country most of these ammunitions were manufactured, he told reporters that some bore made in China mark on them.
The Commando also informed the media that terrorists were well aware of the Taj's layout and recovered an also handed over a Mauritian national identity-card.
The marine commando also added that they have recovered credit cards belonging to several international banks.
Moreover, several documents, wads of dollar and rupees have also been seized from the terrorists, which have been handed over to the Mumbai Police officials for examination.
