Durgotsav across India

It is that time of the year when colours, celebrations and rituals dominate every Indian household. Nine days or the Navratri is celebrated with much fervour in almost all parts of the country. For the Bengali community, it is a much awaited event. Durga Puja is celebrated particularly in the east with much fanfare. While in Bengal, Durga Puja is the most important festival, in other parts of country, Bengali community celebrates the homecoming of Maa Durga with equal fervour.

Zeenews spoke to some of organizers of prominent Durga Puja committees in various cities. Here is a look at the various Durga Puja pandals in some of the cities of India.
