Ahmedabad: The Toilet Cafe, a popular joint in the heart of this Gujarat city, has an old connection with Chief Minister Anandiben Patel or to be accurate with her son-in-law Jayesh Patel.
It has emerged that Jayesh Patel had first mooted the idea of this Toilet Cafe. According to bhaskar.com, Patel works at a local institution as a director.
The cafe, which reportedly serves tea and breakfast among other items, is also popular among VVIPs and celebrities.
Some of its high-profile guests were Narendra Modi, before becoming PM, APJ Abdul Kalam, Amitabh Bachan and Dalai Lama, among others.
Jayesh Patel is married to CM Anandiben Patel's daughter Anar Patel, the report said.
