Rosaiah on Sunday ordered an inquiry into the allegations of
misuse of power against Revenue Minister D Prasada Rao
following a request from him to do so.
Rosaiah ordered Vigilance and Enforcement Department
to conduct the inquiry into the allegations against Prasada
Rao, a release from the Chief Minister's Office said.
Prasada Rao had written a letter to Rosaiah yesterday
seeking a probe into the allegations made against him that he
misused his office for NREGA works in his native
Srikakulam district.
Senior Telugu Desam leader K Yerran Naidu, who also
belongs to Srikakulam district, has alleged that the minister
misused his office and indulged in corruption in NREGS
works.
