Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu seeks investments for state

 Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today said the state with its strategic location would become gateway to South East Asian Countries and East Asian Countries for trade and sought investment into the state.

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today said the state with its strategic location would become gateway to South East Asian Countries and East Asian Countries for trade and sought investment into the state.

Addressing CII National Council members through Video Conference, Naidu said the state government has already taken several reforms in ensuring continuous power supply to industry and domestic consumers.

"By establishing industrial units in the state, industry could take advantage of exports and imports to various parts of the world.

"The new capital city Amaravati offers immense opportunities for developing world class infrastructure for companies in the country. The master plan for new capital city has already prepared by Singapore government," Naidu said.

Elaborating on the measures taken on ease of doing business in the State, Naidu said that his government has come up with a New Industrial Policy which has created single desk to sanction all clearances to industry within 21 days.

He also informed that AP government has come up with various sector specific policies to attract investors in to the state.

On infrastructure projects he informed that Government is developing seven major seaports and Airports in major cities of the state.
