Another reshuffle of IPS officers in AP

In the latest round of reshuffle of Indian Police Service officers, Andhra Pradesh government on Wednesday transferred seven IPS officers.

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh government on Wednesday
transferred four Additional Director Generals of Police, two
Inspector Generals and a Deputy Inspector General of Police
in the latest round of reshuffle of Indian Police Service
officers.

Aruna M Bahuguna of 1979 batch has been posted as the
Additional DGP, Andhra Pradesh Special Police, to fill the
existing vacancy.

R P Meena of 1981 batch, who has been awaiting a posting
for the past few months, has been posted as Commissioner,
Printing and Stationery in Bahuguna`s place, according to the
order issued by Chief Secretary Pankaj Dwivedi.

Vivek Dube of 1981 batch has been posted as Director
General of Fire Service, in place of Ray Vinay Ranjan of 1986
batch who has been made ADGP (Legal).

Jitender of 1992 batch, an Inspector General of
Police-rank officer, has been posted as Commissioner of
Inquiries in the General Administration Department. Another IG
rank officer, P V Sunil Kumar of 1995 batch, has been shifted
out of the Prohibition and Excise Department but has not been
given a new posting.

Devender Singh Chauhan of 1997 batch has been moved out
as DIG, Warangal Range, and posted as Director (Enforcement)
in the Prohibition and Excise Department.
