AP CM lays foundation stone of Kondanda Rama water scheme

 Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu laid foundation stone of the proposed Kodanda Rama Water scheme, to be implemented at an estimated cost of Rs 33 crore at Ontimitta in Kadapa district on Thursday night.

Earlier the AP CM offered clothes and pearls to the deities Rama and Seeta for Kalyanostavam and also performed a special pooja at the temple.

He said that the Ontimitta Kodanda Ramalayam is one of the famous temples in the country and promised to develop the temple on par with the Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Temple.

He also announced that the government would take steps to develop a temple tourism circuit linking Ontimitta with Tirumala and Kanipakam temples.

The AP CM inaugurated the food security scheme at Ontimitta and announced that five kilograms of rice at one rupee per kilogram would be supplied to all card holders, including 'Anthyodaya' card holders.
