AP Cong celebrates Sonia`s completion of 15 yrs as party president

Hyderabad: Congress leaders and workers in Andhra Pradesh today celebrated the completion of 15 years of party presidentship by Sonia Gandhi.

State Congress unit president Botsa Satyanarayana, AICC Secretary P Sudhakar Reddy and several party leaders and activists celebrated the occasion at Gandhi Bhavan here, the state party headquarters.

Hailing the leadership of Gandhi, Satyanarayana said she always emphasised on serving the people and strengthening the party.

Sudhakar Reddy said Gandhi is a symbol of sacrifice who always sought establishing value-based politics in the country.

Gandhi yesterday completed an unprecedented 15 years as Congress president, a feat unparallelled in the annals of the 127-year-old organisation.
