AP Cong leader manhandled for remarks against TRS

Prakash Rao was `manhandled` allegedly by TRS workers and membersof Kakatiya University Joint Action Committee (KU-JAC).

Warangal: Former chairman of the State Transport Corporation and Congress leader Gone Prakash Rao was `manhandled` here on Saturday allegedly by TRS workers and membersof Kakatiya University Joint Action Committee (KU-JAC).

The activists were angered at certain remarks made by
Prakash Rao about Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president K
Chandrasekhar Rao.

The activists gheraoed and pushed Prakash Rao and sought
a clarification on his statement which he reportedly made
against the TRS chief while addressing journalists at the
Press Club this morning.

As the situation was going out of control, police intervened and Rao was taken outside the Press Club with the
help of cops and journalists. Police immediately took him in a
vehicle even as the TRS and KU-JAC raised slogans against him.
