Hyderabad: Demanding that the probe reports over the Antrix-Devas deal be made public, BJP on Sunday said it would raise the issue in the Budget session of Parliament.

"The government must come clean. The BJP demands that the reports be made public. The government is also duty bound to inform people about action taken against those persons who are responsible for the deal. We will continue to pressurise the government. We will take it up in a big way in the coming budget session," senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu told reporters here.

Slamming government over the punitive action against four scientists, Naidu said the government cannot wash off its hands with that.

"What about the PMO officials, who are involved at every stage? It is not a simple issue. You cannot wash your hands simply by barring some officials (scientists) from holding any positions," he observed.

Also coming down heavily on the government over the Supreme Court's observations yesterday over delay in sanctioning of prosecution in 2G scam case, Naidu said it was clearly an indictment of the government.

"It is a clear indictment of the Prime Minister and his office. BJP would like to know who are the people responsible for this delay and the action being taken against them," he said.

He also wondered about the law ministry's role in it. "What about Law Ministry which was supposed to give a proper advice to Prime Minister," he asked.
