Hyderbad: YSR Congress on Tuesday alleged that
CBI cases against its President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy were
part of a "political vendetta" in which main Opposition TDP
was also involved.
"This is part of a political vendetta in which CBI was
being used as a tool with TDP and a section of media joining
hands," YSR Congress spokesperson Bajireddy Govardhan said.
"A nexus between TDP, CBI and a section of media is
visible. This is being done to tarnish the image of Jagan
Mohan," he said here.
TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu needs to be
questioned in connection with the alleged irregularities in
APIIC-Emaar Properties land deal, being probed by CBI,
Govardhan said.
It was Naidu, who as Chief Minister, allotted projects
worth crores to people and entities known to him, including
Emmar properties, he alleged.
CBI is probing cases related to alleged illegal assets
of Jagan, Lok Sabha MP from Kadapa.
