Hyderabad: The CBI on Thursday started evaluation
of assets of YSR Congress chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy at his
residence at the plush Jubilee Hills area here.
The team conducted evaluation of the bungalow, after
collecting the building plan and approval documents from the
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

The agency is investigating the investments by various
firms in businesses of the Kadapa MP during the time his
father, late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, was the chief minister.
Meanwhile, Income Tax Department officials from Bangalore
has filed a petition in the special CBI court here seeking
some documents submitted by the CBI in the court regarding the
investigation into Jaganmohan`s assets.
IT officials had initially approached the CBI, which
asked them to approach the court, as the required documents
were in court`s possession, a senior official of the agency
said. The court will deal with the matter on October 24.
CBI has also asked senior IAS officer LV Subramanyam to
appear before it in connection with the case pertaining to
"irregularities" in APIIC-Emaar land deal. Subramanyam was
once the vice-chairman and managing director of APIIC.
In August, CBI registered case against Jagan on the order
of the high Court, for cheating, criminal breach of trust and
offences under Prevention of Corruption Act.
In the Emaar case, the agency is probing the allegation
that APIIC officials entered into a criminal conspiracy with
officials of Emaar Group and others to cheat APIIC and secure
a benefit for Emaar.
