Chandrababu Naidu launches cashless treatment scheme for govt employees

 Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today launched a scheme for government employees under which health cards will be issued to them for cashless treatment at hospitals, covering 22 lakh employees and their families.

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today launched a scheme for government employees under which health cards will be issued to them for cashless treatment at hospitals, covering 22 lakh employees and their families.

"We will protect your health and create a happy atmosphere at work. You should all take care of the people's well-being," the Chief Minister said, launching the health scheme for government employees here.

On the occasion, Naidu also distributed ex gratia of Rs 5 lakh each from the CM's Relief Fund to the kin of 17 government employees who died during the agitation for united state last year.

Health minister Kamineni Srinivas, chief secretary I Y R Krishna Rao and leaders of various employees' associations and others were present.
