Clinical research institute ties up with US university
The Institute of Clinical Research (ICRI) has entered into an academic alliance with Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) to offer two special degrees.
Hyderabad: The Institute of Clinical
Research (ICRI) has entered into an academic alliance with
Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) to offer two
Master in Health Administration-Global and Master of
Science in Clinical Research (MSCR), to be offered from this
academic year, would produce trained manpower to provide
professional services in this multi-billion global market.
Addressing a press conference here today, Dean and
Director General of ICRI S K Gupta said the institute aims to
address the need for qualified and trained clinical research
"Clinical research is a global industry and the
courses, faculty, practices all need to be global," he said.
"With the introduction of the Foreign Universities
Bill, students in India are riding a wave of optimism and we
aim to provide the right platform by getting into an alliance
with MUSC, one of the finest universities in the field of
medical health in the US," he said.
