New Delhi: Expressing confidence that the
Justice Srikrishna panel will favour creation of Telangana,
TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao on Friday asked the Centre to take a
decision on the separate state issue within 20 days of the
committee submitting its report.
Rao, who met the Committee`s Member-Secretary V K Duggal
here, said the Congress-led UPA should not delay the process
of creation of the Telangana state.

"The Committee will submit the report by December 31. So
the Centre can take some 20 days to analyse the report and
then make a decision," he told reporters here.
The TRS chief demanded that the Centre bring a suitable
Bill for creation of the state in Parliament during the Budget
Session in 2011.

Reacting to media reports quoting him as saying that he
will work towards strengthening the hands of Congress, the TRS
chief said he was "quoted out of context".
