Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau here today unearthed disproportionate assets worth over Rs 1.3 crore, allegedly belonging to two government officials, in separate cases.

ACB officials conducted simultaneous searches at the residence of P Shukla Kumar, Deputy Tahsildar of Moinabad mandal in neighbouring Ranga Reddy district, and unearthed assets worth Rs 94 lakh as per per "document value", according to an official statement.

The assets include four flats, a building, two house plots, 3 acre agricultural land and household articles. The market value of these assets is estimated to be much higher, the ACB statement said.

In another case, acting on a tip-off that deputy forest range officer, S Venkat Srinvas, was in possession of huge assets disproportionate to his known sources of income, ACB conducted simultaneous searches at the residences of Reddy and his relatives in Guntur and Warangal districts.

It revealed assets worth over Rs 40 lakh, including two buildings and three plots, besides gold and silver jewellery.
