Five arrested for murder of former Naxal leader

Dispute over a 15-acre plot in Uppal area here was the
main reason behind the killing. The arrested accused have
confessed that a former Naxal leader, Seshanna, had engaged
them to eliminate Goverdhan, the Hyderabad Police chief said.

One Chandra Reddy, who also had interest in the same
plot, had approached former Naxal leaders Nayeem and Seshanna
for settlement of the land dispute. Special teams have been
formed to nab Nayeem and Seshanna, Khan said.

Chandra will also be taken into custody for
questioning, Khan added.
