Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Sunday extended his greetings and wishes to all the Muslims in the state on the eve of Eid-ul-Zuha (Bakri-Eid).
A release from the Chief Minister`s Office quoted him as saying that Id-ul-Zuha symbolises supreme self-sacrifice and importance of divinity over material life.
The emphasis of the festival is on dedication, devotion, sacrifice, compassion and brotherhood among people from all walks of life, he said.
Reddy desired peace and harmony to prevail and wished the Muslims a happy Eid-ul-Zuha, the release added.
