Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N
Kiran Kumar Reddy and state Congress president D Srinivas on Sunday held a meeting with some ministers to discuss the
party`s preparations for the byelections to Kadapa Lok Sabha
seat to be contested by former MP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Several ministers have been given assembly constituency-
wise responsibility to lead the party`s campaign under the
Kadapa Lok Sabha, party sources said.

"Is it the Congress alone that gives responsibilities
Telugu Desam also gives responsibility," state Transport
Minister B Satyanarayana told reporters.

Asked where he would go among the seven assembly segments
under Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency, he shot back saying: "you
tell me where I should go."

Meanwhile, state Agriculture Minister YS Vivekananda
Reddy is understood to have asked the Chief Minister to accept
his resignation.

Reddy, who will be contesting as Congress candidate from
Pulivendula assembly seat, had earlier submitted his
resignation as minister as his term as MLC came to an end.

Bypolls to Kadapa Lok Sabha and Pulivendula assembly
constituency have been necessitated as Jagan and his mother
Vijayalakshmi resigned from their posts when they quit the
Congress. The bypolls are scheduled to be held next month.
