Law soon to protect temple land in AP: Gade Venkata Reddy

Rajahmundry (AP): Andhra Pradesh Endowment
Minister Gade Venkata Reddy that a law will be brought soon to
protect temple lands in the State.

At present 35,000 acres of temple land is under
encroachment. A special Act will be brought soon to protect
the temple lands, besides an administrative tribunal will be
formed to recover encroached temple land, Reddy told reporters
here yesterday.

He said a `Rajagoparam` will constructed at Srikhalahasti
at an estimated cost of Rs 25 crore.
