Maoist couple arrested in Andhra district

A Maoist couple who entered Andhra Pradesh from neighbouring Chhattishgarh was arrested today from the state`s Khammam district, police said.

Hyderabad: A Maoist couple who entered
Andhra Pradesh from neighbouring Chhattishgarh was arrested
today from the state`s Khammam district, police said.

M Deva alias Devanna, an area committee member of
Kunta in Chhattisgarh and his wife Jogi were taken into
custody from Palvoncha on the district outskirts this morning
when they were found moving in a suspicious manner, Khammam
police told.

The arrested duo are being interrogated and further
details are awaited, they said.
