Salem: A 35-year-old mute woman allegedly
committed suicide by hanging herself in Jalakandapuram area in the district following a domestic dispute, police said.
Alamelu, the deceased, allegedly killed herself at her
residence last night following a dispute with her husband,
police said.
Arumugam, the husband, was arrested under section 306 of
the IPC (Abetment of suicide) following a complaint from
Alamelu's brother, they said.
