Hyderabad: A committee will look into the
status of irrigation and power projects in the three regions
of Andhra Pradesh and submit a report to the Srikrishna panel
looking into the Telangana issue.
"The two-member committee would comprise of retired Chief
Engineer of Central Electricity Authority V B Gupta and
ex-chairman of Central Water Commission A D Mohlee," V K
Duggal, member-secretary of the Centre-appointed panel, said
told reporters here today.
Former senior CWC officer R Jayasheelam will assist the
committee, he said.
The committee has been handed over related documents
given by different groups and forums, he said.
"They (the committee members) will come here after doing
their assessment. They may visit some places in the state,"
Duggal said.
