Hyderabad: People would not believe the
alleged misinformation campaign being carried out against late
Y S Rajasekhara Reddy family, a close aide of Kadapa MP Y
S Jagan Mohan Reddy said today.
"You can write whatever you want. But people would not
believe that. This was proved at the time of last year's
general elections when Rajasekhara Reddy returned to power.
Even now, you will realise soon that people would not believe
what you say," Ambati Rambabu, a former MLA, told reporters.
Rambabu, a state Congress general secretary, was
suspended for making critical remarks against Chief Minister K
Rosaiah and party leadership.
Rambabu was referring to media reports that Rajasekhara
Reddy government indulged in corruption and misused power to
benefit his family members.
Main opposition Telugu Desam, Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam
and other opposition parties yesterday demanded an inquiry
into the issue.
