Bellary: A five-member team of IT department
officials on Tuesday probed transaction of bank accounts of a
private mining firm at Hospet, whose owners are said to be
close to mining magnate and Karnataka Tourism Minister G
Janardhana Reddy, official sources said.
The team scanned the transactions of the mining firm,
they said but declined to give out details of the
investigations conducted by IT men at the Grameen Vikas Bank.
Recently, IT sleuths had conducted searches on the offices
of 2 BJP MLAs and associates of the Reddy brothers
(Janardhana and Karunankara, Revenue Minister).
