According to sources in the Government, new committee will be formed as per the CAT direction to avoid unnecessary mess.

Following the CAT order, officials in Chief Minister's office held discussions with advocate general D V Sitaram Murthy and decided to follow the due procedure.

According to CAT directive, the selection of DGP should be completed within two weeks.

Chief Minister K Rosaiah held discussions with the Chief Secretary S V Prasad, who in turn asked the law department to finalise the modalities.
