Hyderabad: Seeking to keep up the
pressure on the Centre for the formation of Telangana, the
all-party Telangana Joint Action Committee (JAC) tonight
decided to hold different forms of protests till February
seven.

The steering committee of JAC met here and decided to
hold sit-ins at offices of district Collectors on February
one, relay hunger strike of legislators at assembly on
February two, form a human chain from Adilabad to Mahabubnagar
on February three, JAC convener C Kodandaram told reporters.
On February four, the agitators would prepare food on
the Rajiv Gandhi highway and on February five, human chain
would be formed at Kodada. A convention of public
representatives would be held at Adilabad on February six.

The agitations would culminate on February seven with
the massive students` convention at Warangal.

The JAC yesterday extended the deadline till February
seven for getting the resignations of legislators accepted,
following Union Home Minister P Chidambaram`s announcement to
appoint a committee on the statehood issue by next week.
