Hyderabad: Angry over Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy getting the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill rejected in the state legislature, state ministers from Telangana region plan to voice their protest in the assembly session beginning tomorrow.
"We are planning to have a meeting at 8 AM tomorrow in the Assembly hall on how to express our protest," state Backward Classes Welfare Minister Baswaraju Saraiah told reporters today.
The AP Legislative Assembly is meeting from tomorrow, for a four-day session, for the presentation of the vote-on-account budget. The council of ministers would tomorrow meet to approve the budget.
Media reports suggested that the Telangana ministers may stay away from the Cabinet meeting.
"The Chief Minister has sent a wrong signal that the assembly has passed a unanimous resolution (rejecting the Bill). We will use the forum of assembly to rectify that," Congress Chief Whip G Venkata Ramana Reddy said.
