Trains running late due to derailment

Palasa in Andhra Pradesh in Kurdha division of East Coast
Railway, delaying trains coming from Howrah and Bhubaneswar by
two to eight hours Saturday.

At least ten trains coming from these places were
reported running late by several hours, a release from South
Central Railway (SCR) said.

Some important trains, which were affected due to the
derailment, included 2863 Howrah-Yesvanthpur, 2508
Guwahati-Eranakulam Express, 8463 Bhubaneswar-Bangalore
Express, 2839 Howrah-Chennai Mail and 2703 Howrah-Secunderabad
Falaknuma Express.

Meanwhile, 7016 Secunderabad-Bhubaneswar Express will
be short terminated at Vijayanagaram and run as 7015 Express
Vijayanagaram to Secunderabad.

7480 Tirupati-Puri Express will be short terminated at
Srikakulam Road and run as passenger Special Express from
Srikakulam Road to Puri, according to the release.
