Warangal: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has called for a bandh on Friday in protest against TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu's "Rythu Poru Bata" (farmers struggle) in the district.
The Joint Action Committee of Telangana and BJP also supported the bandh call and appealed people to observe bandh.
Meanwhile, 1500 Telangana protagonists including BJP leaders have been taken into preventive custody by the police in view of the proposed yatra of the TDP chief.
Opposing the yatra, TRS asked Naidu to first make his party's stand clear on the issue of separate statehood for Telangana.
