Hyderabad: Seeking to corner the ruling
Congress and main opposition TDP, TRS on Sunday said it would
insist on passing a resolution in support of a separate
Telangana state in the budget session of Andhra Pradesh
Assembly beginning tomorrow.
"Congress and TDP had promised to support separate
Telangana demand. We want them to support a resolution. If the
two parties don't remain committed to the resolution, we will
make the Assembly a forum to fight for the demand," TRS floor
leader in the House E Rajender told reporters here.
"TRS will not accept the Governor's address if it has
no mention of that (resolution)," he said.
