Hyderabad: A youth allegedly killed his
elder brother after an argument over payment of Rs 100 at
their residence in Meerpet area here, police said on Monday.
The brothers, Mahesh (30) and Sai Goud (25), both
painters, got into an argument late last night over payment of
Rs 100 which was due to the former, they said.
"Sai was supposed to pay Rs 100 to Mahesh that was due
for some painting work. It seems Sai did not pay the amount
when Mahesh asked for it. Following this, Mahesh tried to take
away a ceiling-fan from Sai`s room," Investigating Officer
said.
Angered over Mahesh`s action, Sai allegedly hit his
brother with a sickle killing him on the spot, the police
officer said.
Police have registered a murder case and were
investigating the matter.
