Ongole(AP): Congress MP Y S Jagan Mohan
Reddy on Thursday night said he will never feel isolated as his father
late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy has found a permanent place in the
hearts of the people.
"With his welfare schemes, late Rajasekhara Reddy has
occupied a permanent place for himself in the hearts of
people. Can anyone say that Jagan is isolated or alone," he
said while speaking at Kopparam village in Prakasam district
during his ongoing `Odarpu yatra`.
"Our beloved leader Y S Rajasekhara Reddy has shown, not
just to the state, but to the entire country, how a Chief
Minister should be. He implemented innovative schemes like
health insurance scheme, reservations for minorities among
several others. That is why people are still not able to
forget him even 13 months after his death," he said.
Jagan began his yatra today at Santamaguluru village and
unveiled the statues of his late father at a number of places.
Despite Congress high command`s reservations, Jagan
resumed the yatra on September 3 in Prakasam district, a day
after the first death anniversary of his father. The high
command, however, indicated that it may not take any action
against him for now.
