Hyderabad: The newly formed YSR Trade Union
Congress of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) on Wednesday said it will
extend its support to the nationwide general strike called on
February 28 by trade unions.
"We will support the national strike and will come up
with a massive rally on May 1 to spell out our agenda," a
party release quoted Janak Prasad, the party spokesperson, as
saying.
On the issue of State Governor ESL Narasimhan not
accepting the state government's recommendation over
appointment of four persons as Information Commissioners among
eight, the YSR Congress claimed that it is a slap on the face
of ruling Congress and also main opposition TDP as Chandrababu
Naidu was a member of the selection panel.
