The question arises when the NDA have allotted coal blocks during their tenure in the government, have the CAG pointed out the irregularities. If not, it is the responsibility of the NDA government to consider this and point out the irregularities. The UPA government was silent and followed the practice of the former in their interest but they were exposed by CAG. If a person steals something it does not permit others to steal because the other man has stolen. Action is taken against the man who is caught red handed unless both the parties are found to connive to commit theft. 2 The fundamental question arises that if the question is raised by one party on the basis of a report of the CAG a responsible arm of the government that loss was caused to the government . and the other party says no loss was incurred by the government the third party can intervene impartially to find out the truth. Therefore the matter should be entrusted to third party, a commission of inquiry or another independent agency to decide.

PM Sir, If CAG report is disputable and CAG is going beyond its constitutional mandate then bring the impeachment motion in parliament and remove the CAG chief. But please refraim your party spoke persons and cabinet colleges from mud sledging on a constitution authority.
