SPACE-D out with fun and fusion New Delhi: The City of Djinns has witnessed the evolution of various music genres over the years and one of the pioneers of youth music in Delhi, Café Morrison, did not disappoint with their new offering in the form of their second floor lounge ‘Shooters’.

Sunday evening saw the bar hosting a fusion do with an energy filled band called ‘Space’ Consisting of a firebrand triplet of Saumayana, Tritha & Ritika, the band came up with a night of great music and a refreshing amalgamation of sounds from the world.

The influences of traditional and French music were strong with the band and the energy and funk quotient of the beats was a sweet change from the usual ‘Bhangra’ populace of the city.

The performance was snappy, starting with Spacedrop- (Cover of massive attack), Bengali teardrop song, shifting to Indian classical, & then to Sanskrit Shloka. Nevertheless, the pulses of blue blooded Delhites were throbbed too with a rap version and a Bhangra number as well!
