Assam: Five KLO militants surrender arms

Five militants of the banned Kamatapur Liberation Organization (KLO) surrendered by depositing their arms and ammunitions in Assam`s Kokrajhar district.



New Delhi: Five militants of the banned Kamatapur Liberation Organization (KLO) surrendered by depositing their arms and ammunitions in Assam`s Kokrajhar district.

As per reports, the organizing secretary of the outfit, Hareswar alias Lal Deka and self-styled commander of the 1st battalion, Tiranga, were among those who surrendered last evening.

There was a reward of Rs five lakh rupees over the duo.
