Karimganj: A militant was lynched by a mob in Assam`s Hailakandi district, police said on Sunday.
Rahimuddin (38), belonging to a local militant group `Zakir` was severely beaten up by a mob at Boinchera last night.
He succumbed to his injuries at Hailakandi civil hospital, police said.
