Bangladesh MP delegation visit Pobitora sanctuary

The Bangladesh MPs emphasised on establishing closer ties between the two countries in eco-tourism sector.

Morigaon (Assam): A 12-member delegation of Bangladesh Parliament today visited Pabitora Wildlife Sanctuary in Assam`s Morigaon district and studied eco-tourism potential.

Talking to reporters later, the Bangladesh MPs emphasised on establishing closer ties between the two countries in eco-tourism sector.

Senior MP from the ruling Awami League, Tofail Ahmed said that cordial relations between Bangladesh and India would boost different sectors including environment, forest and eco-tourism.

The delegation later visited Mayong Rural Museum and took information about `black-magic` of medieval era, for which Mayong has been famous.
