BPF leader shot at in Assam

A leader of BPF was shot at by an unknown gunman in Basugaon area of lower Assam`s Chirang district on Wednesday night, the police said.

Kokrajhar (Assam): A leader of Bodoland Peoples Front (BPF) was shot at by an unknown gunman in Basugaon area of lower Assam`s Chirang district on Wednesday night, the police said.
BPF leader Dulal Mandal was fired upon at about 7.25
pm when he was returning to his house at Nichinapara in
Basugaon police station.
Mandal who sustained bullet injuries was shifted to
Lower Assam Hospital in Bongaigaon, the sources said.
