Businessman shot dead in Dima Hasao district

Haflong (Assam): A businessman was shot dead by unidentified gunmen at Mahur market in Assam`s Dima Hasao district, the police said today.

Businessman Sudha Roy (34) was shot dead late last night and the attackers fled under the cover of darkness, sources said.

Roy was rushed to a local hospital where he was declared brought dead.
The police rushed to the spot and has launched a search operation to nab the culprits.
