Talking to reporters, the chairperson of Assam State Commission for Women, Neera Barooah, said, “The Commission had taken suo motu cognisance of the incident and demands a life imprisonment for those involved in the incident.”

However, she added that Assam unit of the NCW will decide on the next course of action based on police action and report.

The video shows around twenty men snatching, kicking, pulling, beating and stripping a class 11 student, who along with a friend had gone to a bar located on the Guwahati-Shillong road to attend a birthday party.

What can we expect in a country where we have a silent prime minister watching corruption all around him and doing nothing.where chief ministers are replaced on caste basis[karnataka]where corrupt and jailed politians are free to roam around and rub shoulders with the rulers of the countrywhere Kalmadis and kanimozhis are felicitated where kids dissappear in bore wells regularly. The solution is to re open the cellular Jail in Andamans and keep all these scoundrels there [politicians included]..no bailno parole.

What work had a 11 year girl in a pub? Alsoo if someone wanted to celebrate birthday, it could have been in a decent place and not a pub. Christians have spoiled the nation and many of these females are a victim fo the same. It is advisable for everyone to follow Indian way of life and not try to do something that does not fit the culture and tradition of this nation. If someone wants to violate all of these, then they have no one to blame for all the problems but themselves. In tis scenario, the 11 year old female deserved something more than this.

the offenders should be punished severely to set an example for the like minded. The NCW, NHRC should keep an eye to see that the offenders should not take advantage of our critical and lengthy court procedure and escaping punishment by bribing police, politicians and perhaps the judges.

For molestation and rape the punishment should be to cut the genitals of the these criminals or make them impotent by suitable operation before letting them out in pubic.
