One held for rape in Assam

Karimganj: One Raju Das was arrested for raping a woman from Mizoram at Katlicherra area in Assam`s Hailakandi district, police said Friday.
The man, hailing from Katlicherra last night raped the women, a mother of four children, hailing from Lumpai area of Mizoram and escaped, police said.
Following an FIR by locals, Das, a poultry farm owner, was arrested.
