Meerut: A six-year-old girl was allegedly murdered after being raped in the Naya Gaon village of Baghpat district and a man arrested in this connection, police said on Thursday.
The body of the minor girl was found in the farming fields of the village today, SP Baghpat said.
Anil, a resident of Naya gaon has been arrested for his alleged involvement in the case, the police official said.
According to police, the arrested person raped the girl in the farming field and later killed her.
