Patna: Alleging that more than 1.50 crore dalits, extremely backward and muslim voters had been deprived of their fundamental right of voting, LJP on Wednesday said it would approach the Election Commission of India and Supreme Court against it.

"More than 1.5 crore dalits, extremely backward and muslim voters have been deprived of their fundamental right of voting following deletion of their names from the voter's lists'', LJP General Secretary Satyanand Sharma told reporters here.

Sharma accused Chief Electoral Officer of being hand in glove with the state government on the issue.

He said his party would approach the commission and the apex court to expose the conspiracy to influence the results in favour of ruling NDA in Bihar.

Sharma further alleged that no process was followed by the state election office here before deletion of their names from the voter's lists.
