Patna: Former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi lost election for both Raghopur and Sonepur Assembly seats on Wednesday.

The wife of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad was defeated by Satish Kumar of the ruling Janata Dal-United in Raghopur by a margin of 11,000 votes.

It is a major setback to the RJD, which was routed by the ruling Janata Dal-United - Bharatiya Janata Party alliance in the Assembly Elections.

This is a new beginig in the History of Bihar, it has been for the first time that people of Bihar has not responded to caste politics but mandated for a government whom they think will usher them into new era of development...Kudos to the Bihari junta and Nitish`s Leadership. As for Lalu is concerned he must be aghat and shatered and that he deserve to be.... -kuleep singh {raj}

This marks beginning of a new era in bihar and end of Lalu & Rabri`s jungle-raaj. I believe Lalu must now retire from active politics. His time is over.

Its the beginning of a new renaissance era in bihar. The mandate clearly reflects that people of bihar have had a taste of development in the last term of Mr. Nitish Kumar which now they want to enjoy. The stage was set in the last 5 years and now its time for the NDA to set in an example and live up to their promises. Once again, bihar will be known for its development and education rather and poverty and criminals. Biharis will be given the due respect all over india and not scorned upon.

Lalu will be shocked, as now he cannot become CM again after failing his PM dream in centre. she and her husband go back to their old cattle school and learn to how to keep the cattle school in good shape.

running a govt is not equal to running the cattle school.
