Patna: Former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi lost election for both Raghopur and Sonepur Assembly seats on Wednesday.

The wife of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad was defeated by Satish Kumar of the ruling Janata Dal-United in Raghopur by a margin of 11,000 votes.

It is a major setback to the RJD, which was routed by the ruling Janata Dal-United - Bharatiya Janata Party alliance in the Assembly Elections.

Its the beginning of a new renaissance era in bihar. The mandate clearly reflects that people of bihar have had a taste of development in the last term of Mr. Nitish Kumar which now they want to enjoy. The stage was set in the last 5 years and now its time for the NDA to set in an example and live up to their promises. Once again, bihar will be known for its development and education rather and poverty and criminals. Biharis will be given the due respect all over india and not scorned upon.
