Patna: Congress president Sonia Gandhi will on Sunday attend the rally of grand secular alliance in Patna, ahead of Assembly Elections in Bihar.
Samajwadi Party (SP) will also participate in the rally at Gandhi maidan here but its chief Mulayam Singh Yadav would not attend it.
After a talk between Mulayam Singh Yadav and Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad yesterday, it was decided that Samajwadi Party would attend the rally.
Mulayam, however, would not attend and instead would send his brother Shivpal Singh Yadav to the rally.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad will attend the programme being organised for coordination among workers of partner parties in the crucial Bihar elections.
