Lakhisarai: Three persons were killed and
seven others injured in road accidents in Bihar's Lakhisarai
district in the past 24 hours, police said on Monday.
Two persons were killed and five others injured as a
bus in which they were travelling lost control and overturned
near Abgil village on Suday night, police said.
Efforts were on to ascertain the identity of the
victims, they said adding the bodies have been sent for
post-mortem.
The injured were admitted to a referral hospital at
Suryagadha, police said.
In another incident on Monday morning, one person was
killed and two others injured in a collision between a jeep
and a bus near Jhulauna village even as angry locals set on
fire the bus during a protest, they said.
